(PART TWO ) A different perspective on Michael Jackson (Mine)
Feel free to hit subscribe. I would be honored.
My only regret is that I have “almost” blogged this many times. Unfortunately I didn’t until he died.

In a nut shell, in
my last blog (that I will re-post at the end of this one) I said I wasn’t a huge fan of Michael Jackson. But I did like the man I perceived him to be. In general people do not think for themselves. Or “outside of the box.” Society had wrongly and harshlyjudged and convicted a very nice man of crimes I don’t believe anyone of his stature would do.
Today I saw an interview with his brother Jermaine.Â
Jermaine said
“Michael is a gift from Allah. And he has taken him back.”
“Michael was always concerned about everybody. And to have that weight on your shoulders and to have that kind of pressureâ¦I don’t know.
“The legacy of Michael Jackson is Michael being a wonderful person, a wonderful father, a caring person, a humanitarian, a person who wanted good for everyone, a person who would give his last whatever just to make someone happy.”
“What he’s done for the world, not just the financial, but the happiness of peopleâ¦What kind of price can you put on that? How do you value that? The joyâ¦to make someone happy, to make someone smile through your actions, through what you’re doing, there’s no price for that.”
Wow, deep respect for you too Jermaine. In your time of sorrow you worded everything so elegantly.
Check this out………
Michael Jackson’s last rehearsal two days before his death
Kick me, kike me, don’t you black or white me,” as well as “Skinhead,
deadhead, everybody gone dead/ Hit me, kick me, you can never get me,”
which said at the time could be interpreted as being “pointedly
critical of Jews.”
saying, “The idea that these lyrics could be deemed objectionable is
extremely hurtful to me, and misleading. The song in fact is about the
pain of prejudice and hate and is a way to draw attention to social and
political problems. I am the voice of the accused and the attacked. I
am the voice of everyone. I am the skinhead, I am the Jew, I am the
black man, I am the white man. I am not the one who was attacking.” He
later apologized again and eventually re-recorded a second version of
the song without the offending lyrics.
Seems to me he was trying to tell us something. But “we” as a society were to vain, harsh and judgmental, to see the good.
The defense rest.
Maybe I am a fan after all.
PEACE TO US ALL!

THE FIRST BLOG………
Although, I was not the biggest fan of Michael Jackson, I did like the man whom I perceived him to be.
Through my eyes, he was a gentle, caring, depressed, lost soul, who was a very misunderstood, musical genus.
Someone as talented as Michael, usually creates art through pain of their crying soul. Even when our outer is not aware, most of our inner souls are connected to one another. On a level so high, we do not understand. We are all connected. This would explain his greatness and how so many could relate.
Unfortunately, being the humans that we are, not understanding, being jealous, or even just flat out mean, pre-judged the man harshly. While others lied over greed in hopes of getting a piece of Michael’s pie.
Over the years I have caught a few interviews with Michael. His words, voice, facial expressions and body language were that of a very kind, sensitive, insecure man. Yes, I said insecure. He too was human.Â
About ten years ago, I recall a interview with him. Although, I don’t remember who was doing the interviewing, I remember what they said/asked. At one point they asked him “Do you let children spend the night at your house?” His reply was “Yes.” They went on “Do they sleep in your bedroom?”  Michael said there had been times when they asked, and he allowed it. Then he let the children have his bed while he slept on the floor. The interviewer then said “Don’t you think that is odd behavior of a 40 year old man to allow children to not only spend the night but in his bedroom?”
At this point I go MAD!Â
“Odd behavior?” Yeah, maybe for this sick society. This man honestly LOVES the children. He had a harsh childhood. Is trying to make up for his by helping others. Right down to his theme park called “Neverland.” With a picture of himself as Peter Pan. What is so wrong with trying to make children happy? I am sure the children were honored and exploding with joy to spend the night at his ranch. I would be willing to bet they got scared at night. That is why they asked to sleep in his room. Michael was a compassionate soul, who understood the babies’ fear. What a great man to say yes to them. You say he is sick? Yet, you took something so pure, innocent, loving and twisted it into something bad. You’re the sicko here!
It is very sad when we are blessed with someone who is trying to bring love and joy to this planet, and then we try to tear them down.
